Julia Kozusko, LPC, IMH-E® Infant Mental Health Mentor  (2003-present), Co-Executive Director, has been with the organization since its inception. Julia graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, with a business degree, and went on to complete a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. Julia is endorsed by the Colorado Association of Infant Mental Health as an IMH-E® Infant Mental Health Mentor. Julia has worked with Early Childhood Partners as a mental health consultant, providing support to teachers, children, and families in early childhood settings and offers Reflective Supervision and Consultation to childcare providers, directors and family service professionals. She is a group leader for the Incredible Years (IY) parenting program, the Make Parenting a Pleasure parenting program, a Registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) and Circle of Security Classroom (COSC) Facilitator, an IY Dinosaur School peer coach, and an IY Teacher Classroom Management trainer and coach. She has led the IY parenting program in Eagle County since 2006, facilitating the most sessions in the state of Colorado, and is a trainer for the Devereux FLIP IT! strategy and Building Your Bounce Professional Development Learning Series.

Julia was a Licensed Professional Counselor at Colorado West Mental Health Center for 9 years providing services to children of all ages, families, couples, and individuals and served on the Child Protection Team for Eagle County. Julia has been the mental health consultant for Head Start since 2004, and for Nurse Family Partnership Eagle County since 2008. She is a credentialed Coach and Trainer through the Colorado Department of Education and completed the Harris Fellowship in Infant Mental Health at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2023. Julia has training in the Devereux Early Childhood Assessment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, The Nurse-Family Partnership Interpersonal Violence Intervention, and the FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions).
