Marie BarajasMarie Barajas (2019-present) is the Family Support Specialist for Family Connect, Early Childhood Partners’ Family Resource Center.  She began supporting children’s learning and development as a teacher’s assistant in May of 1999. As Marie’s passion for working with children grew, she furthered her knowledge and education in the Early Childhood field. Throughout the years, Marie attended many educational conferences, teacher trainings, and college courses.  Marie earned an AAS in Early Childhood Education from Colorado Mountain College in 2011, at which time she became a certified large center Director. Additionally, Marie earned her CDA in infant toddler development in 2009, and currently holds an Early Childhood Credential level V1 with the state of Colorado. In 2017, Marie enrolled in the Family Leadership Training Institute, and created a community project called Early Learning Exchange, Education at Play.  This project aims to provide young children with enriching materials that support learning, development, and meaningful interactions with caregivers.  Marie also created and manages a local Early Childhood group on Facebook that encourages early childhood educators and parents to share educational resources, community events, and teaching strategies with other members of the group.
