Glenda Wentworth (2015-present) has been with Colorado State University Extension in Eagle County for 19 years. Strengthening the skills of individuals, families and communities using research-based information that applies to everyday life issues on healthy eating, active living, keeping food safe, and managing personal finances is the focus of Glenda’s work. She coordinate’s the Family Leadership Training Institute (FLTI) which empowers family and community leaders to become leading, recognized, and respected advocates for children, youth, and families. Glenda also provides resource support to the 4-H Youth Development program. She holds a Home Economics Education degree from Kansas State University and a Masters of Education from Colorado State University. Prior to her time in Extension, Glenda worked in the early childhood education field.
