Liz McGillvray (2004-present) has been working in the field of early childhood education for over 20 years. Liz has been a childcare director, toddler teacher, preschool teacher, quality improvement coach, regional Early Childhood Council Coordinator as liaison for the Colorado Office of Early Childhood, and ECE Adjunct faculty for Colorado Mountain College. Liz is the Program Director of Early Childhood Partners, working closely with the Executive Director to further the vision and mission of the organization. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Care and Learning from UMASS, Amherst, and a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Liz is a licensed early childhood special education specialist/early interventionist, and provides support to teachers, Directors, families, and children, specializing in program quality improvement, social emotional skill building, supporting children with challenging behavior, and family engagement. Liz also provides Part C Early Intervention for children with developmental delays and/or disabilities birth through age three. She is currently a Steering Committee member for the Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Council.
