Cristina BetancourtCristina Betancourt Santos joined the Early Childhood Partners team in June of 2019.  Cristina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and is a graduate candidate in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado.  Cristina also holds a graduate certificate in Developmental Delays/Early Intervention (26 credits plus 200 service coordination hours), and is formally trained in Teaching Strategies GOLD, Handwriting Without Tears, Flip It!, Pyramid Plus, IY Dinosaur School, Family Leadership Training Institute, and Environmental Rating Scales; she is also CLASS certified and reliable.  Cristina has worked with teen parents, families, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for over 10 years, and has most recently been a teacher, Director, and Early Childhood Special Education teacher for Eagle County School District.  Cristina specializes in providing behavior support and intervention for children and families with an emphasis on social emotional skill building, and brings her passion for life long learning to the ECP team.
