Romina Calderón (2023 -present) is originally from Huancayo, Peru, where she studied Geography and environmental science. She worked for the local government in doing GIS and Fieldwork. Romina moved to Eagle, Colorado in 2018 and entered the ECE field the same year. Romina worked as an Early Childhood Teacher for over 6 years in Vail. She found her passion in the classroom with young children and since then, she has been taking ECE classes and working towards her AAS. Romina is a certified coach and Trainer through Colorado Department of Education. She is a certified observer in the Infant, and Toddler Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS). Romina is also a trained Lena Grow Coach, Circle of Security Parenting and Classroom facilitator, and an Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care Trainer. Romina enjoys going on adventures with her husband, dog, and friends. She likes trail running, hiking, swimming, skiing, and traveling the world. Romina loves discovering and learning from new cultures and ways of living. She is excited to work with programs along the County and providing coaching in Spanish and English.
