(2015-present), Supervisor of Child Care Initiatives, earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Adams State University, and began working in the early childhood field in 2007. Tara is a Certified Coach and Trainer through the Colorado Department of Education, and is a certified observer in the Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS). She is a Certified Quality Improvement Specialist for the Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS) and the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS) through Clayton, She is a group leader for the Incredible Years (IY) parenting program, a Registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) and Circle of Security Classroom (COSC) Facilitator, an IY Dinosaur School peer coach, and an IY Teacher Classroom Management trainer and coach. She is a trainer for the Devereux FLIP IT! strategy and Building Your Bounce Professional Development Learning Series. Tara is also trained in Pyramid Plus, a certified Train the Trainer for FLIP It!, an Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care Trainer through the Colorado Department of Education and endorsed by the Colorado Association of Infant Mental Health as
an Early Childhood Family Associate. Tara supports childcare centers and family childcare homes in an array of quality improvement efforts.
